Yep, She Did It! Go Zoe!!!

Zoe decided she'd take a break from cartwheel turning gymnastics and follow in her Daddy's footsteps in the runners world.  FCA has a cross country team and even though she couldn't participate in all of the meets because she's in Kindergarten, she still attended most all practices.  At each practice, she was asked to run 1.25 miles, which seems like a lot for this little thing!  On the first day of practice, she only ran 1/3 of the loop and decided she was done. I thought that was it for her, but she asked to go back to the next practice. I took her and she finished 1.25 miles! Go Zoe Kate!! At the very last open meet of the year, she decided she would be brave and run a real race. And, she finished!!! Crazy part about this final race day was that we were surprised that it wasn't a 2k... it was a 3K. Seriously. She did it!  Hooray, Zoe!

Zoe has really enjoyed the social aspect of running too!  She's made lots of new friends at her school and loved being with her buddy, Jenna at practices and at their very first meet.
