The past few days she's been holding onto the ottoman to stand and "cruise" (at a snail's pace). Last night our sweet Zoe Kate decided it was time to let go of our hands so that she could stand on her own. She let go!! Wow! We clapped for her and she was so proud.Later, while playing on her pallet, I turned her lose and she stayed STANDING UP... ALONE! OH MY GOODNESS!!! At first it was only for 10 or 20 seconds and in no time flat, she could stand up for about a minute. I even had time to snap pictures while she stood up :o) Whoever said that she would walk before crawling..... you were CORRECT! She's only 8 months old....
By the way, she even took a step! (of course she may have just been trying to balance?)
