Baby Luke, 9 Months

It's so hard to believe that another month has blown right past us! Luke is the still the best little baby! He is starting to figure out that it makes him a little sad when his Mommy leaves the room-which is kind of sweet. While he is a Mommy's boy, he loves his Daddy and Grandpa too. In fact, here lately Luke will fuss and fuss until Grandpa (Mike) pays attention to him and then Grandpa must pick him up! It's pretty sweet!

Luke is in the beginning stages of crawling! He can do this scoot/crawl thing, but only goes backwards. He can do a push up that cracks us all up! He is also starting to rock on his hands and knees, so it won't be long until he's officially mobile!

Luke has been so excited to get 'people' food these days! While we don't let him have that much, we have been letting him try bites of this and that. He thinks that if we're at the table eating, then he should be too. (As you can tell, he's not hurting in the weight department!) Luke is still nursing, but I'm afraid those days are coming to an end... and, not by my choice! Luke is so distracted and ready to play that he doesn't have time to snuggle with Mommy.

Two days before Luke turned nine months, he got his first tooth! About two weeks before this he started sleeping through most of the night! Which was beyond wonderful!! Then, the tooth came. Now, were back to multiple night wakings. Luke, please start sleeping all night.... please!

While Luke likes to play with toys, nothing compares to playing with his big sister Zoe! Luke LOVES his sister so much! Zoe is still doing so great with him. She loves to play with him and cuddle with him. It's getting so fun watching the two of them interact with each other. They make each other laugh and giggle. Enjoy this little giggle video of Luke!
